Hello everybody~ wuwu.
Sorry to do this, but I'm kind of busy with a few different things the
next few days, so this will be a brief update, no pretty pictures. I know a few people out
there like to check this news on a weekly basis, so I didn't want to
leave you hanging with nothing but last week's post.
To sum up, Ops had a decent week. Wednesday was just okay since we
still need to relearn the Pawbuster encounter. Sunday was a bit better.
For having a light raid, we actually made out like bandits with the PR
and Shard of Hate loot.
"You'd better not start slacking on these news posts Luxx!"
I know! I'm not but... well...
"Yeah? Let's hear it..."
GTA4 is oooout! I'm going to disappear for a couple days... I know a guy that knows a guy with a huge HDTV. Seeya suckers!!

HAY GUIZE LOOKIE THAR!! A NEWS POSTSTS!!
The Unrest EverQuest 2 Unrest Alliance EQ2 Unrest Operatives had quite a busy week checking out the new raid content and kicking the shit out of the old raid content.
Wednesday we cleared Protector's Realm and then went for a quick (and late) stroll through Shard of Hate. I actually showed up this time, so that was nice for everybody.
PR gave us the following loot:
Shard of Hate is pretty interesting. Seems like a good mix of challenging and sissy mobs, all of which give nice (and some wierd) loot. Even the trash mobs in there drop loot. Also there's a certain... green quality to the place. Plus the music is hot.
We had trouble raiding the place. The music was just so sweet. I'd like to thank our DJ, Master P:
Master P had the whole raid partying. That's why we spent all that time over at his place, we totally forgot about the rest of the zone. He even had free drinks.
Before we arrived at Master P's we did stumble across this stuff:

Congrats Selly, Neo and Suce
We didn't make it back over to Master P's until Sunday. Hell, I didn't even regain consciousness until late Friday. I think someone slipped something into my ale. I woke up with my pants on backwards, a plastic bag on my foot, and a Burger King receipt shoved up my ass in my hand.
SUNDAY!
Back to Master P's we went.
It was a beautiful fight that took us like 4 or 5 tries because of some lovely raid encounter development. Apparently the best solution for beating Master P'Tasa is the following:
WARNING; SUPER L33T RAID TACTICS/SPOILERS AHEAD
I know some people would argue that there are other ways to beat this guy. We're no strangers to love. It's the fighter's problem to figure out. I would be surprised if "more ubererer" raid guilds out there have beaten Master P without letting all their tanks stay dead. Eventually, maybe we will also.
My point is that we tried multiple attempts and this wasn't our only tactic, but it was 100% sucessful for the encounter and to be honest, a lot easier than trying to figure out what the developers had in mind when they designed the guy. Hey, maybe this is exactly what the devs wanted! I just hope they don't start making fights where the healers have to stand in a corner and twiddle their thumbs for 12 minutes.
There's something that bothers me about this, and it's not that we had to kill our Fighters, because I'm really all for that. I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling; gotta make you un-der-stand. My real beef is that there is no explanation for why Master P reacts the way he does to fighters. No pre-fight dialogue, no lore, no warning, no nothing. I would really like to find out how people realized Fighters were the source of the problem in the first place without a developer leaking that info. I don't want this to turn into some rant or whatever, but taking all the Fighters out of the encounter isn't something people just do "to see if it works".
There is a discussion on this topic HERE if anyone is interested.
Regardless of whatever problems, Master P gave us this very cool hat for Lockn:
Gartssss Lockn
And then we got this really cool (and sparkly!) shield for Mr. Filmore:
Totally righteous, dude!
... and lastly we got this very nice earpiece for Sucellus:
Congratulations Suce~
Thanks for reading everybody, that's the news pos-
... oh, hang on. The Twins, you say?
What's that?
Timmy? and he's trapped? In the well?!

Congrats Zyph and Drav!
Yeah, we beat the opaque white ghostly crap out of them both in one pull. No big deal.
Freaking awesome fight; and way to go Ops.
Any questions or comments can be directed to a special forum we have set up exclusively for this news post. The name of the forum is called "The Masterrific Nazi Clown". There's a really funny explanation for the name, you can find all of it HERE.

I was thinking about naming this news post "Masterrific", making it 10x more incredible than it is right now, but then I remembered that that's what I named last week's post. How could I forget? I guess the word really isn't that memorable. Kinda dull, actually.
Alliance Operatives had a wonderful time on Wednesday, I think. They may have gone into the new raid zone, Shard of Hate. They also might have killed a bunch of stuff, including a named mob, which possibly dropped this:
Congrats Malificant!
They could have done this... who knows? I don't because I wasn't there. I was busy crying in my chocolate pudding... my wonderful delicious chocolate pudding. Screw this news post, I'm grabbing a Snack Pack...
... Okay I'm back, that was delicious. I feel so much better now.
Tell you what, forget about Wednesday; let's talk about Sunday!
Sunday was beautiful. We met some Large Spooky Skeletons, we re-killed them, we took their masterrific loot. Them, along with everybody else hanging out in Protector's Realm. It was a regular little killing spree we had going on:

Congrats Vinh, Xxable, Zyphius, Vinh, Vinh, Amenra, Vinh, Crocka, and Vinh!
Everyone then packed up their things and took off to our favorite hang out in all of Norrath: Temple of Kor'Sha! Yaaaaay! Uzdrak, the bitches without loot, and Atrebe's statue all got the crap beat out of them. We then spent the remainder of the evening planting daisies around the temple and singing songs.
The loot:

Congrats Dakman and Rockroi!
About time you loot something decent, ya slacker tank.
aaaaaand that's the news!
Yeah yeah, I know. Just one stupid image making fun on Vinh in a Willy Wonka reference. You wanted more, perhaps? Well I'm not a machine, damn it!
Also, somebody send me some funny Ops quotes! The bottom of these entries is looking pretty bare... I can't catch everything... *grumble grumble grumble*
